Harriet always has her nose in a book
and this tends to concern other people
‘You’ll slip and you’ll fall
and you’ll have your back crooked,‘
but her hunger for stories just deepens.
Harriet always has her nose in a book
and she reads for hours and hours,
of fairies and dragons and old wizard crooks
and often she wonders how fun it would be,
if she had magical powers.
Harriet always has her nose in a book
and every day she chooses to venture
to a dark deep blue sea
or a strange galaxy,
she’s always prepared for adventure.
